It's exciting when new players get together for the first time, simple things can have great "meaning" - Who "wins" the wind sprints? Who can "block-out", hold a pick, dish the ball. Who can "score" especially on the low blocks Whom is the best 'fast-break" personnel - Who do we depend on in the offensive 'sets" late in the shot clock. Could go on forever but I think the first couple of weeks are always interesting because you start to see whom "works" hard and whom begins to separate themselves. I'm really hoping Gak and Bassett make a little jump forward this year. The low post rotation will be important and hopefully our 3 big's work out an effective rotation this year.
