I wrote this yesterday, I wanted to share it here. Anytime I speak with a former player....each one loves him and talks about the family environment. And it all seems very natural for coach. He connects really well with kids and their families.
I thought the connection with Raheem and Tyree was kinda neat and worth a quick write up.

Great to hear. I'm guessing most players feel this way about their coach, especially in hoops. Still always good to hear these kinds of stories.

Great piece Brent. Always love these inside stories. Clearly investigative journalism isn't dead!

I trust most on this board will keep that in mind when a this team gets tagged with a couple of unexpected losses.

Yep. People get inflated expectations and go ballistic when a loss occurs. We will have a very talented team, but we will also have road games, off-nights, bad calls, illness, foul trouble, and injury.

    Lol!
    Thank you!!!
If I ever create a billboard promotion, I will seek yourendorsement and verbiage!

“Jayhova calls this a “must read!”, and says “Brent is the comeback writer of the year!.”

    :)

    Seriously though... thank you!

Btw- I’m taking requests. I hope to write a bit more this year... I’m getting old and need to keep the mind sharp. So if there is anyone you wanna know about.... kinda a “where are they now” piece... let me know, and I’ll track em down.
