Dont forget they havent even factored in Andre Dubose.
The Gators 2020 recruiting class is back up to #3 with the addition of Johnny Brown. Bama and LSU have the top two spots. UF had dropped to #5.
Be prepared for at least 2 more additions to 2020 in the next several weeks/months. Very exciting.
Props to Notorious for nailing it. The idiots at Gatorchatter were claiming Mullen would have a bad recruiting class because of his number of commitments then plus said that he was a bad hire. Wrong!
That board is full of idiots. They attack and pile on anyone who doesn’t agree with them. CDM will prove them to be idiots. If you read that board eventually you won’t be a Gator fan. Just be thankful for this board.
We had our own contingent handwringing over our recruiting rankings back in August. Early signing period has changed things! We need a recruiter!
There was some historical precedent for some lowered expectations in August. Top 10 classes are very uncommon from that point in recruiting cycle. Mullen has overachieved historical models. Has really shown his recruiting chops. The early starts on the 2020 and 2021 classes bode very well for their eventual rankings.
With things looking like they are wrapped up for us we have moved to 9 on 247, sitting above the defending national champs Clemson.
I go by the average star rating on Rivals and have us tied with several others at #9.
And, for once, we did better than FSU.
Alabama has the same number of 5 star signees and five more 4 star signees than Georgia so how does Georgia get ranked #1?
We’re 8th on Rivals and 11th on ESPN.
Rivals only counts the top 20 players in a class. They got away from raw numbers because of all of the over signing that was going on in years past.
Here is some info on the full formula for how they arrive at their ranking.

Noticed a much greater emphasis by programs on priority walk ins this year, whether special teams, lower league teams, undersized kids, ... Kirk Herbstreit’s twins both accepted PWO opportunities at Clemson. Smart move by Dabo
That's probably a good idea. Explains why UF was ranked a little higher.
BTW, congrats on another great class.
