Bullcrap. I call out plenty of posts from pro Trumpers, anti vaxers, Covid deniers, over the top gun lovers etc...You have no leg to stand on there.

 

In my view, there are 3 events and only 2 are intertwined.

1. trump commuted the prison sentence of some dude.
   
2. Some dude ran/owned a camp for kids and employed 2nd dude.
   
3. 2nd dude molested kids.
4. 
   2 & 3 are related. 1 is a tangential factor IF and only if 1st dude would still be in prison without the commutation.

Not for molestation or sex abuse which seems to be the problem now, and unrelated (unless the bribery was for concealing the abuse...seems to me, anyway).

 

I know. The problem is it gives real Christians a bad name and can tend to lead some astray.

 

The problem is real Christians are like unicorns. Probably not even possible to be one and ALSO be a politician. When one loudly wears it on the their sleeve as a political cudgel, it’s safe to assume the absolute worst. When you see the “we are founded as a Christian nation buffoonery”, all it shows is a failure to comprehend the U.S. constitution and nothing more. You can’t assume they even understand their own biblical leanings at that point.
