By the Wizards yesterday.
Good for Cheese
would be great if he can stick!!
Under his 2-way contract, by league rules, he can only be on the Wizards roster for a total of 45 days. The rest of the time must be spent in the G League.
thanks for the 411
Cheese and Beal together?
Love the thought of that pairing.
Tough deal losing Wall for the season.
Played 2 minutes with no stats yesterday.
If only DRob stayed with the Wizards...
Cheese played 11 minutes and had 6 assists tonight in the Wizards win over Philly.
Was just going to post the same thing. Only 1 turnover. Unfortunately, 0-4 from the field. But still, 6 assists to 1 TO is pretty good for 11 minutes of work. If you watch the highlights on ESPN, you can see him in one of them. Can't believe our little Cheese made it to the big leagues. So proud!
Just read an article about how he pissed away his talent by being a hot head and getting in fights on and off the court and the Wizards had no choice but to let him go. He never struck be as the type when he was here, but it looks like he has to work his way back up through the D league again.
And without any knees!
One of my favorite Gator basketball players.
Rooting for him every step of the way.
Speaking of gators in the association - check out DFS the other night:
wow, never would have thought that with him
Yammed on both of them!
On a pleasant note, in the 4 games that Cheese has played for the Wizards in December, he has played 49 minutes and has had 17 assists, 5 steals, 7 points and 3 turnovers. The steals, assists and assist-to-turnover ratio are really impressive.
Protecting the ball really well. Hope he keeps it up and has a great career.
Chris Chiozza becomes the 2nd NBA player this season to reach +26 or better in under 15 minutes played (Jerome Robinson hit +26 in 14:37 mins on Nov. 24 vs Pelicans) #Wizards
And they were -21 during the 38 minutes that their other point guard played.
