Mendoza going home to play the hometown team that wouldn’t even allow him to walk on. Mendoza and Cignetti vs Beck and Cristobal. Yeah, Indiana’s got this.

 

Beck and Cristobal are due for stupid plays and decisions.

 

I'm pulling for Indiana BIG TIME. However, I think Miami's ability to run the ball, especially with Mark Fletcher, will slow down the game and limit possessions. I, also, think Miami's defensive front is going to give Indiana trouble and Mendoza will be under more pressure than he's seen most of the season. Indiana has been the best team in the nation this year, but Miami is playing great football right now and with wins over Texas A&M, Ohio State and Ole Miss, I'm not counting them out.

I'm counting on the Ind defense pressuring Beck into 2 or 3 picks to make the difference. . Not sure I'll watch tho. Hate Miami, but not a ind fan either.

Indiana has defied the odds and old logic this entire season. Not enough 5-star talent. Coach is too old. Too much reliance on the portal. Why not root for them to continue defying the odds? Also, F Miami.

Can't help it. I'd always prefer to be pleasantly surprised. Pessimism is an excellent defense against that. BTW, I am only like this with sports; In everything else I am relentlessly optimistic.
