This case shows you that there is even a divide between the rich and the very rich like there is between the rich and the rest of us.

These rich families can afford a few hundred thousands to get favorable treatment for their kids but not a few million. Therefore, they can't go the "name a building" route for favorable treatment.

Wells Fargo is offering new student loans from what I hear. They might even get a complimentary Visa card to boot.

There does not appear to be any connection with Trump in the college admissions scandal, but if there was, the main stream media would be all over this with "Trump's Friend" or "Trump's Associate" or "Trump's Coach.".

Former Georgetown tennis coach, Gordon Ernst, has been implicated. Who's he? Nobody; other than the personal tennis coach for the Obama women.

Looks like the media is reporting Obama's connection (I mean, you did post a link, right)... so what's your point?

The NYT seems to be one of the first to report this ...

FWIW, the Obama connection was mentioned in the 1st paragraph of yesterday's NY Times articles.

The Coaches Connected to the College Admissions Fraud Case

Today ... Fox News, Brietbart, The Washington Examiner are all over it ...

Con logic dictates it's not being reported by the MSM, when the fact is, the righties probably know about this because of the good reporting of the NYTs.

Hmmm, Lester Holt did not mention anything at all about the connection on last night's national news broadcast. I, like most people, don't subscribe to a local paper like the New York Times, but I get my national news from NBC.

You really think that's one of the most important facts in this scandal: That one of the coaches involved gave private lessons to the Obamas a few years ago?

As if the child of a president couldn’t get into most any school on that fact alone.

My daughter is a sophomore at Northwestern and there's a freshman whose father is the hedge fund manager in California, who paid to get his daughter into Georgetown. The NU student took her exam at a testing center in Houston where a proctor showed up to "monitor" her test taking. NU admissions is quite upset about this and has issued a statement that they rely on the integrity of the ACT/SAT testing centers. My prediction is you're going to see some changes on the test taking going forward.

This isn’t about admissions. Am I wrong? They cheated the system. The system works based on subjective merit of class rank, test scores, academic achievement, community service and if you are crazy talented athletic prowess or art achievement. Yea people donate a bunch and get a waiver. Don’t apply to those schools if you don’t like their behavior.
