Why should he take any blame for this flu like virus? He didn't cause this. The only mistake he made was shutting down this country. You and others will never give this man credit for anything. He could cure cancer and you still would bitch.
I'm so thankful I'm not full of hate and anger like so many of you .

It’s also summer, they wouldn’t be in class anyways. They’ve missed what, 2.5 months of school? I’m not sure how not being in school is to blame when they wouldn’t be in school right now without the pandemic.

The President holds the highest elected office in the land. When something happens on his watch that kills 150,000 Americans (and rising), how can he not shoulder the blame? The buck stops at his desk!

Moreso, we had plans for a pandemic. Presidents W. Bushb and Obama left a playbook for Trump. What did Trump do? Throw it in the trash and did things his own way. Result? 150,000 Americans dead, and rising! It didn't have to be this way.

And give Trump credit? For what? Taking over a multi-million dollar business and declaring bankruptcy six times? Running frauds like Trump U or The Trump Foundation? Cheating on each of his three wives and paying off porn stars to keep quiet? And what has he truly accomplished as President? 3 miles of new wall, we, not Mexico paid for, trillions of dollars in new debt, and 150,000 dead and rising.

If Trump ever claimed to cure cancer, his "cure" would be to stop testing and declare no new cases equals a cure!

If I'm bitter, it's because our President is a shyster. A true conman of epic proportion. He cares about nothing but himself, and everything he touches turns to crap. And tens of thousands of Americans are now dead because of it, and it didn't have to be this way. A real leader would've put aside his or her own ego and followed the playbook.

It's not just the social isolation. There is also a lot of economic upheaval going on. Students are graduating college with a ton of debt and no chance of getting a job, and no end to it in sight.

Schools are germ factories, especially elementary schools. Children have a hard time obeying rules all the time, especially when it comes to sneezing, wiping their noses, touching their faces, sharing food, etc. Have you seen any children lately? They're disgusting. Rules will only make them slightly less disgusting. That's not enough when you're dealing with one of the most contagious viruses in human history.

There is still the issue of the complications that children are getting from Covid-19. A number of children have gotten vasculitis. Will they completely recover from that, or will it carry through their entire lives?

The president should not take any blame for causing the coronavirus, but he probably should take some blame for his handling of it. Proposing idiotic, suicidal quack cures for the virus, for example. Disbanding the pandemic task force. Failing to re-stock the emergency PPE stockpile for three years. Sending mixed messages about how serious the virus is, whether one should wear a mask or not, holding Petri Dish Political Rallies, encouraging governors to ignore the health hazards and re-open their economies, etc.

We shut down March 13th. Our normal end date was May 31st. Those weeks drove this suicide rate? Wow.

As a teacher, I WANT to go back to 5 day, all day. And while I am relatively healthy, I'm not just going to voluntarily add in lab rat to the job list. I'm already adding in policeman.

Teachers who have been walking the walk for 25 years don't want to go back THIS year -- because of some dumbass conspiracy or lack of ethic? Puke in your own donkey if you think that is what's happening.

It's about if someone can go to a place without begging for bankruptcy or death, nothing more. Stop with the horseshit.

Teachers think about the welfare of kids more than themselves 95% of the time, and it's no different now. It is shameful how the right is demonizing teachers.

I personally believe we shouldn't have ever shut down, it was dumb. As for the PPE equipment who would have known we would have another flu like virus out there except China who was buying up all the PPE, Sending mixed signals no, the so called expert Fauci is the one that caused this confusion from the start. The only people I hold responsible is the Chinese, face mask hasn't stopped anything. Like the flu, some people in the same household get it while others don't covid is no different.
Look at how many people are wearing the face mask for the past several months, virus still not slowing down, now after 6 months the expert Fauci is suggesting goggles, remember in the beginning HE stated no need for everyone to wear mask. Why aren't you throwing any blame at these experts who make big bucks to study these things, they're the ones who was caught of guard, told us no need to wear PPE, truly they didn't no what to do. And now we have lot's of doctors(experts) stating Trump was right about
    hydroxychloroquine.

I think you and any other person out there is this worried about Covid then stay home don't force your opinions or fears on others.

Researchers publish scathing critique of a hydroxychloroquine study touted by the White House
By Elizabeth Cohen, CNN Senior Medical Correspondent

    Updated 0533 GMT (1333 HKT) July 31, 2020

(CNN)Researchers on Wednesday published scathing critiques of a study President Trump repeatedly touted on Twitter. That study, published earlier this month in the International Journal of Infectious Diseases, claimed to show that hydroxychloroquine saved lives.

President Trump tweeted about it enthusiastically.

"The highly respected Henry Ford Health System just reported, based on a large sampling, that HYDROXYCHLOROQUINE cut the death rate in certain sick patients very significantly. The Dems disparaged it for political reasons (me!). Disgraceful. Act now," the President tweeted on July 6.

But the study had multiple errors, flaws and biases, according to letters to the journal's editors.

Let me know when liberalism kills 150,000 people and drops the GDP by almost 33%.
