Proved again today he ain’t ready. He needs to come back and have a killer year if he wants to be drafted, let alone be drafted high.

We missed CJ today. No right coverage for most part. Elam may have been our best DB today. Our safeties are never in position to break up or intercept passes. Need faster safeties and athletes back there.

He is free to get torched in the NFL. Love him as a Gator ... but he has regressed. Needs to get his sh!t together and ball out before going pro.

Agreed and pretty sure he didn't get a good grade back. Confident in his return.

While I agree with everyone here, let’s let it be. Marco doesn’t take criticism well.

does that mean our safeties are places out of position or they just aren’t making plays?

He is in no way, shape or form ready physically for the next level. He still doesn't like to step up and make tackles (esp. on WR screens), attempts way too many arm tackles and doesn't like to fight for the ball in the air. He'd get physically abused in the NFL next year if he declares.

Come back for a year and prove yourself against opposing teams' #1 WR and improve your stock.

He's got some work to do to make and stay on an NFL roster. That being said, it's his choice and he repped the orange and blue well so I wish him luck.

The touchdown he gave up was very well defended. He just got beat by a perfect (and somewhat lucky) throw and a great catch.

He was in good position pretty much the whole game. Just gotta make more plays.

His worst play of the night wasn’t in coverage but on a missed tackle on a 3rd down conversion that was all effort. The Virginia player who caught it and ran with it just wanted it more.

Nope...if anything, I’m hoping this thread dies a quick death without people going overboard.

He will likely be playing "Star" next season. He needs to have a long talk with Chauncey Gardner Johnson about what he needs to do to get better
