My nephew is starting LB this year for cedar hill. His brother just graduated and is at Tennessee. Hope to see y’all play against one another.

Correct. We have desoto and Duncanville in district. Plus play Allen early. Good luck to flower mound though.

Mrs. Evers -- you have a fan club on this board. @bobbybaker86 is the president.

These are legitimate questions. I have this same concern. The longer we go without commits the more concerned I am. You better believe the recruits pay attention to the stars!

Just like how Evan Stewart only became interested in us after Evers came on board.

I mention to the homie @KSAGator that once the dead period comes the 28th, I expect kids to pop then once all the visits are taken care of because a few have mentioned wanting to go into their senior season committed

Not much. Did you watch the games? He threw to many different guys and usually made the right decision as to who to throw to and was pretty darn accurate. More accurate than any QB we've had since Grossman IMO.

I have to agree that what is between the QB's ears is more important than athletic ability...though adequate ability is also required. Being able to quickly assess the play and adjust to the D, and choose the correct option are absolutely primary. Danny Wonderful and Kyle up to the Task are great examples.

Exactly. He's a great fit given what is already here. Pulling a high quality kid every cycle is far preferable to a five star guy followed up by two years of recruiting holes.

Mullen has been pretty blunt about not wanting to play QBs too early/before they are ready and has emphasized that competitiveness and leadership are major components he looks for in a QB. Evers seems to possess both those qualities and fits Mullen's overall philosophy nicely.

@fitlane - would say the recruits rarely, sometimes or frequently visit chat boards like this one?
