I'm presuming Fisher took his teammate Medley, hoping Rayburn would go to aTm also. He is a highly sought after recruit regardless of his ranking.

Guys like him make a difference when they outperform their star rateing. All programs are after the top guys but when you have guys outside the top 300 turn out to be key players along side an already upper echelon recruiting class it is a program changer.

Any chance H. Rayburn can be swayed back to the good guys?

Interesting note you made about Krull. I guess he decided to leave the Midwest and join the Floridan's as a Gator.

Yeah, Clemson and OSU can get anyone they want from Florida. Rayburn isn't changing mind.

Lady Lake's PD made Waldo's police department look lenient. You could easily get a 36 in a 35 ticket in a city that should be a 55 mph speed limit. The states most obvious speed trap!

Well, Waldo, at least in my experience, is not nearly as bad as Okeechobee.

My father, who first began motoring in the early 1920s had a story about Small Town Police: "Go slow, see our town. Go fast, see our jail."

Of course, there was a small town on the main road on the Olympic Peninsula (Washington), that was trying to secede from the US so they could really enforce their town's speed limits because they were just loosing too many kids and dogs to hot rods gunning through their town on their way to Mt Olympus.

This is perhaps the most absurd statement I've ever seen actually written down. No two recruits are identical, so, although it's true that due to recent success, and, in Clemson's case Hard $$$$$, they've been recruiting well in Florida, they get far, far from anyone they want. As a very recent example, in last year's class of 26, Meyer had 4 kids from Florida (15%), while Clemson, of 17, had 2 from IMG (12%). If you think that's Anyone They Want, you are simply Way, Way, Way off base.

Champ is actually giving Clemson a run for their money this year recruiting wise. Dabo is not controlling his own State

Games do not necessarily change a team's recruiting prowess in a given arena. All schools are always most effective in their own backyards, but Clemson's success has helped them garner more than their share of South Carolina's top kids recently. However, while Clemson is SC's Engineering School, USCe is the Flagship, which always carries a lot of weight in every state. Much like Ga Tech vs Georgia, and Tx A&M vs Texas, and Iowa State vs Iowa. But not like Nevada Reno (the Flagship) vs UNLV (massive larger local population to draw from).
