I am enjoying the job very much. Glad for the break, although this trip is job related but I hope to get some fun time in. Zip needs to enjoy a game day.

Also of note, Keiondre Jones out Hogansville, Ga has visited auburn 5 times already this year with his 6th coming this weekend. Actions speak louder than words (Right Jemarkis weston?)

Re; the 4star TE Krull I'm not sure he'll be pulled away from k State. His parents went there and he's a lifelong fan. (He has 3 years to play 3)

Just a note on Chris Steele.. he’s visiting South Carolina next week on an official visit, instead of Miami. He will be with Gamecock commit Ryan Hilinski.

I still believe it’s Southern Cal or Florida though.

They are doing well as you know. I'm sure they will put on the full court press when he visits.

Muschamp can point to a lot of guys he coached. I don't think he gets him but damn...Muschamp sure does know how to recruit on one side of the ball.

That last visit to Southern Cal will be key. I think they were the favorite until UF. I think UF is in good position right now.

If Steele’s parents don’t come with him on the trip, not going to happen for South Carolina. Just hope Champ and TRob don’t turn him from us to Southern California

I made the mistake earlier saying Hilinsky and Steele we’re teammates, but they’re not. Just good friends.

Even if his parents come I still think it’s a long shot. I’m just impressed kids from California are visiting. I’m not 100% sold on Champ as a coach yet, but him and the staff around him do a hell of a job getting high profile kids to visit South Carolina.

Wow. Kids will do what they want to do, but risking sitting behind Criddle and Wright for his whole D1 career should be too much for him, unless he really likes nickle.

    Thanks crew for the info.

I've noticed what you say Candy regarding Offers in the past - maybe 50-60 reasonable possibilities, and 100-125 offers, most of which are not committable for various reasons.

GRANT HOLLOWAY - when he signed with Gator Track, I knew he would be great. He's much like Percy Harvin in earning 5 State Gold Medals, and being an outstanding WR in high school.

Good info candy. I think we are still heavy favorites for WR Pittman, which I didn't see mentioned.

I'm concerned about quality OL recruits (see comment below). We still need 3 more commits. Rayburn would be nice.

I think the DL class will be good, now that we got a solid 4-star DT. I hope Hunter commits, but UGA is still the favorite. One solid DE to go along w/ Humphries will make this a pretty good class. We can add a couple of 3-star kids to round it out.

I'm not seeing many good LB prospects, I hope we can get at least one blue chip here. Hopper could end up a 4-star (I think 247 already has him a 4-star, but ranked outside the top 300. Abrams is 240lbs and will be a good OLB in this system if he doesn't get over 260, but he's firmly ranked a 3-star.

If we get Steele the DB class will be solid. I think Whittemore changes positions, so I'd put him as an "athlete". He's going to be over 200lbs by the time his HS season starts and will likely be 215+ by the time he steps on the UF campus as a freshman.

I still think Jalon Jones moves up a bit, hopefully inside the top 300.

Not sure what to make of Zipperer, hopefully he commits (along w/ Billingsley). I think Krull goes to K-State due to family. He's a heck of an athlete though.

This is discouraging. He's the highest rated OL we have a realistic shot at. Emory needs to get on his ass! :D

For clarification you mean, Rayburn - right? I'd rather we get Derick Hunter than Hunter Rayburn....but both would have been nice too! :D

Despite the rankings I would rather get Hunter Rayburn if we get Pickering than to get Derrick Hunter and ???....Simonds?.... Bueller.....Bueller. We are already low on quality options on the OL for targets. We are in better with top shelf SDE than OG.

Good points....especially after it looks like K. Jones is leaning Auburn.

Hunter Rayburn should end up 4 stars. Even if he doesn't he's got big time written all over him. We've gotta offer early and be ahead of others.
