2021 5 star OT Nolan Rucci had a virtual visit with UF this week. Never saw his name tied to UF in any way before. While a virtual visit doesn’t mean Rucci has strong or even much interest in UF....anyone know if we are actually a player here?

If I wake up and say the whole purpose of fandom is to win a championship, and what would raise our ceiling the most, then I'm much more concerned about a low ceiling OL than I am lack of depth at safety, star, and especially RB. But I trust Hev to put out a decent product moving forward. One that plays fundamentally well, but isn't going to push around elite DLs. But if I'm worried about our floor, its injury at positions we lack depth on (and QB).

Chatfield and Bogle small for SDE. We would be really small at the SSDE after Carter leaves, unless one of our DTs can play the SSDE on obvious running downs.

Big old boy! Not to far from me, if he is real about being a Gator may have to go check out a game this fall.

Chatfield has gotten big. He's definitely a SDE now. Bogle is still growing too, and I think he'll be in there a fair bit, even if he isn't yet strong enough to set the edge, we're going to want to get him on the field.

Do you think there's a shot with Smith, or is LSU too strong of a pull for him?

"Says Miami, UGA, LSU and Alabama are his top 4 schools right now. These four will definitely get OVs. Has the best relationship with coaches from these 4 schools.
Oklahoma, UF, USC and Oregon are battling it out for the last OV. Per Rivals national writers, they Expect this race to come down to LSU, Georgia, Alabama and Miami. Smith has not yet made up his mind and feels very confident leaving the state of Louisiana at the moment. He's putting a heavy emphasis on finding a spot that's also going to help him with life after football."

He was mentioned to me as someone showing more recent interest in UF. From what I understand Turner has been in on him. Now, with more communication, Mullen is active with him a little bit, too.

Interesting about Chatfield being a guy that showed up LB more or less. Hope he has the man strength.

They'll need to feed him more. Seems kind of light for 6'8" but that's a good starting point for a S&C coach.
