Hope so. We are already loaded at wr and that would put a lot of talent in the defensive backfield

Thanks for the great summary Candy! Really appreciate all the time you put into this over the past few months to help the uninformed like me keep up with recruiting.

Skeeters brings back great memories. Loved the Asher on Sunday morning.

The new staff had lower (in 2 cases much lower) grades on every recruit mentioned besides NPF & Gouraige.

If this class got NPF, Nesta, and Boykin it was A/A+. It was close...

Ended with a good quality class, our roster needs to refocus efforts on the defensive side of the ball.

IMO it sounds like Watkins is a much better CB than Boykin so if that is indeed where he winds up no big deal missing on Boykin IMO.

He is, but Boykin is a player in his own right, but definitely cushions the blow.

Business decision, kids a joe Haden like athlete. We need him at cb and return gsme, he will shine.

How physical is he as a defender? I like "business decision" if it's to play CB over to WR and isn't of the Deion variety where he's afraid to hit anyone.

He needs to put on 15+ pounds, but has plenty of time to do that. But I agree, he's got a future on either side of the ball.

Not enough video of him at CB to check that. My opinion Trey Dean is the physical corner we need out of this class. He already showed that at the Under Armor. Watkins might get on the field faster as a CB but I think his future is better with ball in hand than defending it.

I’m willing to accept a Deion Sanders at CB. I guess I just have low standards.

That I don't know, but I would assume he is at least as physical as Henderson or Wilson. Kids a spectacular athlete, low numbers in the class but I don't see any reaches. Will be fun to watch.

Deion Sanders would not have been eligible to play at UF. Deion did not attend class and had a failing GPA. His last semester at FSU he did not attend class or take any exams, as he knew he was leaving. UF would not have allowed him to play

Its kind of like he became the Godfather originator of all the mess we have seen over the years in Tallahassee. Maybe FSU players should wear bracelets that say "What Would Deion Do" and Gators should wear ones that say "What Would Tebow Do".

I don't know about GodFather.....Poster Boy would be more apt. The Godfather was obviously Bowden who decided at some point after getting whipped by UM for so long that if you can't beat 'em join 'em.

It would be great to have enough athletes to actually have competition for KR in the fall. Get Clement, Watkins, Lemons and maybe Burnett out there at practice and see who performs the best.

I just looked back at your post Candy and noted what you said about LSU, so I check out 247, and they inked 21 kids (3 more than UF), and although their average is a bit lower than UF's, being brought down by a few mid-80 point kids, they still average over 90.

    Why are they complaining?

They missed on a few 5 stars like Surtain who went to Bama, as well as a few other desired prospects
