Cags gets paid!

Cags has yet to earn his stripes with pro home plate blues and will get every borderline outside pitch called against him. I think that eventually it will swing the other way because he is so good.

I hate that this is how the game is called but it has always been thus.

 

I think you could combine the exit velos on all three of those hits and they wouldn't equal the exit velocity of one of his home runs in Omaha.

 

I think he needed a break in the worst way, had to be exhausted with how much baseball (especially high intensity) he played since like late February especially pitching/hitting. The way his pitch recognition improved sophomore to junior year I think he'll figure things out at that level.
