Unless Tre mann does not come back don't think there's any room but this is interesting.

    Interesting. Sanford is his basecamp.
How did his recruiting go? Did he string us along?

I recall many on here felt we had a good shot with him.

FWIW, he had a terrible freshman year at Oregon.

Not that I have a vote, I don't think Mike goes after a player who is "for the future" this year. IMO time is up for growing a program. This is THE "show me" season. If he gets things going the way he wants and we like it THEN we can talk about how to get future pieces.

IMO it is Mann to grow from last year or it HAS to be another Blackshear.

Would you rather have had him or Castleton? Both may be granted immediate eligibility based on Covid19 and playing closer to home.

Castleton in a no brainer. He plays a position of need.

No inside info, but I wonder if the choice ended up being Walker or Mann.

I doubt that Walker considered us. He’s not a center. If he were to be granted immediate eligibility, he almost certainly would have been behind KJ and Duruji at the 4. Even if he redshirted, there is a reasonable chance that he would then be behind Duruji at the 4 the following season. This kid is going to want to get 30 minutes per game whenever he becomes eligible.
