I understand why everyone likes Kiffin. He's clearly an excellent offensive mind, and he's having some sustained success at Ole Miss. I wouldn't say no to him.

But man, I just love Cignetti's edge. The guy just exudes confidence and wants to beat your brains in. I feel like his persona would fit perfectly in Gainesville. As far as I can see it, his only downside is age. He might coach what... another 10 years? Who knows. What I do know is what he did with James Madison and now Indiana (the Miss St of the Big Ten) is nothing short of amazing. The dude can clearly coach.

Other than those two, who else would be exciting and a clear home run?

 

We can only hope for ten years from any coach IMHO. The job is such a grind. I believe it was Spurrier that alluded to as much. The President is 79. The last President was elected at age 78.

 

I don't think Napier gets canned until loss #6. It's not going to be as soon as we would like...

Integrity isnt winning any games for us the last few years and quite frankly Id rather have Spurriers toe nail clippings calling our offense than this low brow mouth breather coach. So do the toe nail clippings have a buyout agreement we have to pay?

 

If we hire the right coach we are not very far off...dont underestimate just how bad a coach Billy has been at UF. He has really held this team back.

 

Lack of integrity almost always bites you in the ass. He doesnt need to be a choir boy but his word has to good.

 

Hell no...throw his shit on the lawn or in a dumpster.

Cignetti certainly deserves a shot and is light years better than BN...would be infinitely less expensive and Im sure the contract would be easier to get out of if it doesnt work out. I just wonder if he is a big enough name to hold the talent here in Gainesville. If not youre set back two years. While Lane is challenged he can coach offense and with a great DC this team holds on to everyone and likely brings in some transfers who see the team as a real contender immediately. Recruiting at UF will see a big uptick too with him working Floridas fertile recruiting grounds. I have a hard time not seeing that he would have this years team sniffing the playoffs and next years team a serious threat to go all the way.

 

I am ready for the dream team. Urban head coach, Spurrier offensive coordinator and qb coach. Bob Stoops defensive coordinator. Zook special teams and recruiting.

 

You mean Spurrier as head coach, Bobby as DC, Urbs on special teams and to round out the dream team, Napier as OC and QB coach.
