The number 1 shooting guard in the class of 2019 announced his final 5 schools: Duke, Kentucky, Villanova, Kansas and the Gators.

He may not end up here but it's always nice to be in the conversation with talent like that along with some of those blue bloods ;) :)

It can't hurt. Other high schoolers see this.

It may come down to the openness of the 2-spot for each team.

Well, we know that at Kentucky, every spot becomes open every year, which would suggest that Cali's weird sales pitch would be effective.

We seem to be in a better position with his teammate and best friend Scottie Lewis, but being in Antoine's top 5 is amazing.

Duke has a long tradition from New Jersey, whereas the only guy I can think of we got from New Jersey was Dan Werner. :p

Would love to change that in this class. I'm not greedy, I'd be excstatic if we signed either Lewis or Antoine. I hope they are not a package deal, because i don't think we are lucky enough to get both.

We’ll see, but I think if they were sold on us they would’ve announced by now. Looks like a classic bidding war between Duke and Kentucky.

Did not know that, knew he was from NYC area. In either case, he's a bit more of a "world traveler" than a "kid from NY or NJ".

Then again, I have no idea these two kids are "from" NJ either, and in basketball recruiting geography can seem to be a bit of a moot point anyway. Pipelines sometimes matter though. So my original point was what? I can't remember. Move along...:p

Joe carried Lawrenceville to the state title in New Jersey in his senior year, while big Al had a great senior year for Grand Ledge in Michigan. I did my best to try to follow the future Gators during their senior years in high school. I am still doing it.
