I don’t think it’s out of bounds to expect and “turn loose” a man you’ve hired to do a specific job at a level in which he’s known for...to quote kill bill vol 2 “ are u trying to convince me ur as useless as an asshole right here( points to elbow) well Guess what buddy you’ve just convinced me”

    * not a shot at any posters , I’ve just always found that scene hilarious

Brewster is a flat out stud of a coach and recruiter. A and A+ in my opinion. Home run hire.

Yep, and it looks like he is trying to get Evans on board. He, Johnson, and Knox secured an official on March 20th. He would be a great get after whiffing on all our RB prospects.

Worth exploring the idea of cutting that recruiting team down to a 2 man of c rob and Brewster. Just a thought. This could be a big win if we pull it off. Less chance of a personality conflict short term.

The best salespeople I know have a very special skillset and it's something that can't be taught. The have the ability to almost instantly connect with just about anybody and gain trust. It's usually not aggressive at all. They can basically sell without saying much. I've known 2 people with those skills. My ex-wife (sho lost those skills many years ago) and my best friend.

Let's face it, most coaches don't have very good people skills. They're coaches and many of them have the personality of a rock. I don't know anything about Brewster, but he just might have those skills.

Brewster seems to be very much at home on social media. He seems to fit in well in that way.

What's absolutely awesome, Brewster hasn't even been formally announced yet, and he's already busting his butt for the good guys!

Agree. It’s an innate ability to be disarming and inviting. Finding another persons wave length quickly is most def a valuable skill

A little of both, but I think Brewster had already been in his ear for a while regardless. I know Cook didnt like TOG questioning his hs "activities".

Hope this guy stays around for years. I kind of get the sense that he now feels he has the total package to sell. No limitations at Florida.

Interesting that he only spoke of Pitts, Zip, then Gamble as his TEs, in that order. No mention of Lang or Odom. Of course, Odom is only an incoming (probably redshirt) freshman, but, wonder if Lang is feeling buried on the depth chart.
