Cleared to play this season?
Didn't he sit out his year so he is good to go? Don't think he had to be additionally "cleared."
What, what? Lol...
He's been on our team an entire season... pretty sure that dude is a Gator football player ready to play for the gators this year...
Cox and Lingard are good to go this season. The big 5-star receiver from Penn State is the most significant question mark now. Hoping for more good news from the NCAA. If he’s eligible and a fit, this season’s starting receiving corps could bring more big play ability than last. Depth will be the question as Henderson and others will need to put on their big boy britches.
What's the status of Pouncey, I've read some places he's a grad transfer and others that he's not and will need a waiver?
Lucas Krull got a waiver to play elsewhere this year, so I have no idea how Shorter or Pouncey would be denied in comparison. But the NCAA being who they are will probably deny waivers from both of them.
Lucas Krull was a grad transfer so he did not need a waiver. Not a apples to apples comparison.
Hmmm. I guess he didn't know that because it came straight from his twitter.
7 foot tall, benches 600 lbs , squats 2 tons and jumps tall buildings in a single bound... is that what u were lookin for. I think the kids gonna be really good
You forgot jet packs and laser beams.
I know he was cleared to play by the SEC but never saw a followup report he was cleared to play from the NCAA - or had to sit out a season before playing.
If he was cleared by the NCAA - that's great!
He hasn't played a single down.
Like I said - just checking to make sure he cleared with the NCAA.

Dan Mullen updates status of Georgia 5-star transfer Brenton Cox
I think last season counted as his sit out year
Thanks...Ive been working out more than ever lately...got some Ligandrol from Total Nutrition. I cant wait to crack some heads this fall.
Lol... just having some fun my Gator friend. He's paid his dues all of last year. I'm pretty sure this is the season that he plays.
He met his requirement by sitting out the season. No waiver needed now.
That's 2019 as in last year. This year is 2020. He didn't play in 2019. He can play in 2020.
Here is a link for Cox becoming eligible.
Finally Eligible, Dan Mullen 'Expects a Lot' From Brenton Cox Jr.
Waiting on the MATH class he took !
