He’s lucky to be alive, the SUV appears to have taken a big tumble.

"Tiger Woods was in a single-car accident this morning in California where he suffered multiple leg injuries," said Woods' agent, Mark Steinberg, "He is currently in surgery."

That can't be good for a bad back. I pray he is OK and has no serious injuries.

Sheesh. Single car. Hope he's ok and hope this was an innocent crash.

Were any Swedish women in the area?

    "...Hawthorne Boulevard, at Blackhorse Road"
I am literally 20 minutes away from this area in Rolling Hills.

    Wow, how insensitive.
If you had an ounce of humanity, you would have posted pics.

An LA County Fire Department spokesperson tells USA TODAY Sports that he would classify Tiger Woods' injuries on scene as "severe but not life-threatening."

Wow, right in my ex-wife's back yard in RPV. Not surprised.

I am a big TW fan, but the national coverage on this is a little over the top.

My dad had a similar incident as far as injury goes back in 91 and they feared he would never walk again. He eventually did with the help of a Cain but was in pain the remainder of his life. Medical science has come a long way in the 3 decades since but imo the “crushing” of both lower portions of the legs and the “shattering” of the ankle has ended his playing career. I hope I’m wrong but the mans 45. Sad day fellas

I hope Tiger heals 100%. He may be screwed, because he was coming off back surgery, which probably means he was prescribed pain killers. If they take blood, may show up. Not saying that’s the cause of accident.
