A 6’4 guy that rebounds 7 per game is a consistent high effort and high energy guy. Won’t be asked to shoot that much here, so as long as he can resist the urge to launch 17 shots a game, he is an obvious help to the roster. I love love love guys that buy into rebounding from the guard position.

That shouldn't bother you. Baylor started 4 guards in the NC game and did okay.

if you go to the 19-20, they beat Mizzu.
It looks like he can do what ever is needed.
His stats show he competes. pts, rebs, stls, blks, assists

I would guess we're going to see a lot of 3 guard lineups. Can Felder play PF?

Interesting statistical profile -- excellent free throw shooter (ranged between 77 percent and 80 percent all three years), poor shooter from the field (shot 39.5 percent overall last year, 32 percent from three), don't love the assist/turnover ratio (2.7 TOs per game last year against just 2.3 assists), oddly great rebounder (7.4 per game last year, 8.3 as a sophomore), and I like his combination of blocks and steals.

We need a patented Eric Fawcett deep dive, stat.

conference defensive POY on a 3-18 team!!!

That rivals Steve Carlton when he won 27 games and the 1972 Cy Young on a team that went 59-97

Huge surprise as Florida wasn't previously listed in his list. Maybe White adds a young guard willing to sit a year, but playing time appears to be full at guard. I'm guessing Mike White is planning to start 3 guards and perhaps Fleming is willing to come off the bench. 2nd year in a row he was defensive POTY in the Big South and 1st team all Big South.

Averaged 20.1 ppg, 7.4 rpg, 2.3 apg, 1.8 spg last year. He's a good free throw shooter at 80.6% but an okay 3 pt shooter at 32% attempting 147 3's last year. Fleming was on a terrible team so he bombed away last year, but that won't be the case next year.

He may be the biggest unknown of the transfers as to how his game will translate in the SEC, but bigger gurard, averaged 20 ppg in a D1 conference, can play defense (how good remains to be seen) and a good free throw shooter. This is a nice addition for the Gators.

One of my favorite baseball stats of all time.

Just think about what his record would have been on just a mediocre team let alone a contender.

Agree on the 3 guard lineup. Felder is a PF.

We lost 3 guards & added 3. Now if Jitoboh could lose 30 pounds & give 15 of those to Castleton... upload_2021-4-12_16-45-4.png

    I LOVE this pickup.
He is a big, physical kid who can be a defensive stopper, grab rebounds from the guard position, and play some bully-ball against some of the big backcourts we face. A big complaint at Florida.. even during some of the Billy years.. was a level of softness. One this for sure... next year will not be a season soft team.
