Blockbuster Jobs report surpasses all expectations

Trump says the job growth is because businesses are anticipating his return as president.

I suspect it may be because they are anticipating his incarceration.

 

I wouldn’t have expected Blockbuster - in the year 2024 - to have created any jobs at all, so this is definitely a surprise.

 

That's because Netflix quit mailing out DVDs.

 

We will see how much it gets revised down as with nearly every jobs report in the past couple years.
I would also be easy on boosting how many jobs were created vs how many jobs that were there before pandemic and came back after the pandemic. But with color sunglasses you get to see whatever picture you want. Trump ad min helped create a bunch of jobs then lost a bunch due to the pandemic to end up at net negative. Biden ad min is getting the boost of jobs coming back then any additional that may have been created during his term.

I'm guessing this will throw more uncertainty into possible interest rate cuts but good news nonetheless.

 

Standing by so see how the MAGA nation tries to discredit this news. Always find it amusing that the Make America Great Again crowd get so pissed when America actually does great.

The issue is that it isn't close to even. A few months ago, I made the point by looking at producer price index articles. With Fox News, there was a high likelihood of an article if the number was higher than expected and a low likelihood of an article if the number was lower than expected. On CNN, there was an article either way.

 

Well since you made the point of looking, what did Fox News actually do? Not the likelihood.
