Can someone from MAGA tell me when we can expect the proceedings to begin?

Impeachment won't be needed by the Republicans after the first debate. Trump will interrupt Biden so many times that Biden will have little to say, being swamped by constant Trump pathological lies concocted at the spur of every moment. Biden will call off the second debate and concede the election to Trump after such a dynamic and dominating (in the eyes of enough brilliant American voters) Trump performance.

Then Trump will just have to shout. Does he give a damn about rules? And if they try to shut him up when it's not his turn, it will be "persecution" and "election interference."

Blah blah blah... both candidates are completely worthless, yet they are what we get to choose from. What an absolute joke.

Thanks to the 2-party system and the Electoral College. Although it will never happen since the relatively small states do not want to relinquish their disproportionate influence the only way to fix the system is through a Constitutional amendment ditching the archaic method of selecting the president and going to some form of the popular vote, maybe a "jungle primary" followed by a runoff.

If Trump gets elected, there will eventually be no Constitution to amend. He has already suggested "termination" of the Constitution once. Was he just kidding or being sarcastic, or was he being the wanna-be dictator that he obviously is? Hasn't he already tried a coup e'tat once? Now he might well beat "Crooked Joe"? (In-your-face projection, anyone?) Has America just become stupid or fascist or what?

What's really sad and scary is that Trump's hardcore supporters have no problem with suspending the Constitution. Based on surveys as well as anecdotal interviews of his supporters at MAGA rallies, Trump's supporters have actually expressed the belief that what America needs is a strongman and some have suggested that a leader like Vladimir Putin would be preferable to Joe Biden.

THIS is the dividing line. This is what us normal uncultish people are most concerned about with a trumph presidency. I even have a very good friend, who did NOT vote for trump last time, tell me she is this time and thinks 4 years is "not enough time to get things done". That was an alarm bell for me.

Biden has been a great president through very difficult times, he just doesn't get the credit he deserves because "inflation."

It really is scary how far the MAGAts are willing to go to get their way. More than 1/2 the country not only won't vote for your guy, but actually despises him? No problem, Democracy is optional, violence is an acceptable solution.

They go on and on about their 2nd amendment rights, but would trash the rest of the constitution to get their way.

Thankfully Chuck Schumer will be bringing the border bill for another vote that Republicans initially supported.
