Great start to the thread.
LMFAO! Not my president.
Looks like he crapped his depends
Oh yeah, the decline is well under way.
That’s good stuff.
80 million people folks
So you don't care to comment on Joe Biden's Town Hall?
Have it your way 155 million people...
Do you care to comment on Joe Biden's town hall?
155 m includes both Biden’s and Trump’s totals, so I’m agreeing on that one. The guy has clearly lost a mental step.
The ratings part is silly though. I’d rather have a boring president.
I think the ratings are an indication that Americans are losing interest in what Joe Biden has to say.
Biden losing a mental step is putting it lightly. It's down right sad watching him get on tv and look like he needs to leave the set and go straight to a nursing home.
He doesn't know what he is talking about but at least he is boring.
But yeah, Joe Biden is on top of things, so we can all rest easy.
It does not make me happy that we have a President that may be in cognitive decline. I didn’t vote for him; but, as w/ Obama, I hope my decision proves faulty.
The “Town Hall” is a joke. Don Lemon? No different than having Trump interviewed by Hannity.
USA needs clarity on the virus - when folks are being blocked online it gives rise to suspicions that the whole story is not being told. Why not have a “Town Hall” w/ perhaps five medical professionals?
Selection could be: 1. AMA, 2. Doctors w/out Borders, 3. Democrat pick, 4. Republican pick and 5. A wild card. Why not? Put the ideas out for EVERYONE to hear and make a judgement on the quality of the arguments and the wisdom of resulting policies.
I’m not interested in being entertained by my president. The Bachelor gets tons more viewers than Casablanca, but I hardly think that is evidence for The Bachelor’s superiority.
In the end, you won’t like Biden and his fans will like him, almost no matter what he does. Obama was quite lucid, and conservatives didn’t go around complimenting him for it. They just found negatives in what he said rather than how poorly he said it.
Butthurt Trump fans eagerly anticipating his reinstallation as prez in 3 weeks crapping on Biden.
Until at least Jan. 20th, 25, he is your president too, Trumpers. Deal with it.
You do realize that President Obama and his policies are the reason we got President Trump, right?
Now, we have a man who is showing obviously decline towards the end of his life with a group of far left people behind him pushing bad policies...bad policies, produce bad results.....so if recent history has taught us anything what do you think will happen in 2024?
Now I would definitely consider bad policies an appropriate way to assess a president, rather than town hall ratings.
However, the question becomes how do we determine what is a bad policy. I thought Trump’s tariffs were bad policies, but that likely says as much about me as the policies themselves.
Basically, we have at least two different lenses through which to view ideal governance. If you are right that Obama caused Trump, then probably Trump caused Biden, and Biden might cause DeSantis or someone, who might cause Harris etc. So which part of this chain is bad? Only one side but not the other? Both? Neither?
I think the fact that CNN could only fill about a third of the venue and the ratings were so low shows that people voted Not Trump last fall rather than for Biden.
Trump was just way too extra for so many people, including Republicans, and they were just tired of him being in the news 24/7/365.
I’d rather have a bland conservative president. You almost had a good post.
