UGA just announced home and home with Ohio State for 2030, 2031 seasons.
Not sure I can handle a return to Sun Devil Stadium. Bad memories of unusually large people dressed in red.
It is a very nice setting though.
Great stuff. Hope it comes through.
Mrs. Gotham is an ASU grad and still has tons of family in the area. We go every year.
Nice game. These are the other games Georgia has on their future schedules:
22- Oregon (ATL)
23- @ Oklahoma
24- Clemson (ATL)
25- @ UCLA
27- @ F$U
28- F$U @Texas
29- Texas @Clemson
30- Clemson Ohio St
31- @Ohio State Oklahoma
Yes, I’m envious, they got several teams I would really like to see UF play. It’s fairly obvious now what Scott did, no surprise though.
Same location but much different setting and stadium. Lots of development has gone up around the stadium, and if the ASU President has his way, there will be more by 2028. ASU also had to tear down some of the upper deck due to structural issues, and the stadium now hold about 55,000. Back in 1996, it held closer to 72,000. Oh, and there will be no red in the stadium at all this time. ASU fans usually wear gold to the games, but they might mark this game for a "maroon monsoon."
It's several years away, but I already contacted my Gator family and friends about going.
Wait until Scrott Stocklin schedules games vs Mars Colony 32Bravo in 2088!! Now that will be a trip!
I was really hoping we would schedule Cal-Berkeley and it happened. Got a good friend who is a Cal alum and his kids attended UF.
Visited SF and Wine Country last year and cannot wait to go back. Visited Cal’s campus and it was wonderful. Watching the Gators play there will be quite an experience.
It’s interesting to play all these schools that we haven’t played in decades if ever. It just feels like they are “friendly” matches in soccer. No hate amongst fans produces low intensity games IMO
I guess we will find out if it is Malarkey. I know local businesses won't be happy
@ASU and @Cal? I'll be there!
