Wait, that implies you only get one beer a week?
well sorta- it was a 22 oz mug
Tonight will be tasting Commander IPA from JDubs Brewery in Sarasota featuring local grown hops from Caloosa Hops.
Have a happy hour meeting at the Bent Paddle brewery - Duluth, MN. Will enjoy a flight
Not exactly right now but I did start my evening with a Goose Island Old Man Grumpy. Then a lot of 312 at the Dead and Co show.
Happy to say I've enjoyed several of these beers.
Each was excellent.
The one glaring omission on this list is there are no beers from Cigar City.

I live in CO, so some aren't avail for a lot you.
In the fridge right now. Unfiltered Sculpin, Melvin 2x4 DIPA (fantastic, but only in W. states) & Melvin Lamda 3IPA, 13% & really, really good.
I like Lagunitas UCIA so much I wrote this tune about it.
All my Colorado/Wyoming peeps rave about Melvin.
I was in Colorado a few weeks ago and my favorite brewery I went to was Westbound and Down in Idaho Springs. Relatively new.
For IPAs Melvin really came on in a hurry. Damn, I go by Idaho Springs a lot & never heard of it. They pop up like weeds. Did you go up Mt. Evans by chance?
I think it was about a year old, right in the little downtown of Idaho Springs. If you go tell the short haired bartender the couple on their honeymoon from Florida sent yah
We were going to do Mt Evans but didn't realize how long it was and didn't have time. We did do a whole lot of other things in 8 days
Tonight it's the Glen Goyne 10 year. I've enjoyed the 12, 15, and 18. The 12 and 18 are both special. I'm pleasantly surprised by the 10. Like it better than the 15.
Will be in Two Harbors tonight and have a chance to stop by the Castle Danger Brewery to check out an ale or two.
New World Blonde Ale and Seclusion IPA
Lagunitas 12th of Never
So many great beers.
So little time.
Hope you enjoyed your weekend in Chicago. Didn't make it to Revolution?
No we didn't. Was supposed to be a parents only weekend and ended up having to bring our son. So, we did not get out as much as we wanted to.
Had dinner at Roister Friday night then just wandered around Wrigleyville and concert on Saturday.
Sipping on Cycle Brewing - Bonded in Sin (bourbon chocolate barrel imperial Stout)
Also have a sixtel of Cigar City Guayabera on tap at the house
Dogfish Head Palo Santo Marron
Brown ale aged in Palo Santo wood barrels. 12% ABV.
