Spotted Cow is a "sessionable" craft beer in that you can drink more than one or two (at my age that is about all I do). Iy has the flavor but not too high on the alcohol percentage. It is just a pleasant beer.

It's national beer day apparently. So drink up.

Had the No. 1 a couple weekends back . Very good but you have to be lucky as hell to get it. Won a raffle on a secondary site for peanuts what it goes for. Toppling Goliath sells it for $500 for on site consumption, pretty absurd for 12oz

That's pretty awesome luck. I'm sure it's great but secondary markets prices for some of these beers are just stupid. I had some Toppling Goliath before they got real big and expanded. Always good stuff.

I've had 33/50 of the beers on the list.

I've maybe had 5 beers off that list. Most are so rare they are hard to find. I need to start saving a list of these for when I am a place with a good selection.

The trick is to get in the industry :)

Every one I've had on that list has been pretty great. It's surprisingly a really good list, usually these lists I see are pretty poor. You should be able to find 6-8 of them on a fairly regular basis, stuff like ABT 12, Mikeller Beer Geek Brunch, and Peche Mortel

    My favorites are
    Julius
    Double Barrel Hunahpu
    Duck Duck Gooze
    Peche Mortel (probably my favorite)
    Zombie Dust
    Heady Topper

That's true. I got my hands on so many great beers when I was doing work for Goose Island. The owners/brewmasters are obsessive about trading beers with each other. Greg Hall was a great client and friend who taught me almost everything I know about craft beer. That's been quite a few years now. It's not as easy staying on top of things now.

I recently had a rum barrel aged Last Snow from Funky Buddha, and it was amazing. Really flavorful coconut coffee Porter...
