    Bearcats vs Dwags

Bearcats will be fired up and hungry to prove themselves. Could this mirror our bowl game?

    Go Bearcats!

Bearcats force a 3 and out opening possession. Would love Cinci to pound UGA today

Think it should be an interesting one. I would have preferred to see a Cincy in the playoff over OSU or ND- if anything i think they need to expand because clearly the committee wants to see the same teams in if given the chance, and I'm not even that interested in the playoff this year sadly.

Also I bet Cincy fans won't be clamoring for a national title banner if they win heh.

I am anxious to watch and see how effective Cincinnati's defense is against Georgia today. I know some may not like Freeman, but I think he is what I would like to see our defense do. I really wanted him to be our choice if we fired Grantham. Someone will snatch him up and tried last year, he may go this time. They run a 3 man front, but rarely rush 3, often 4 and even 5. They semi load the box,the LB's play up tight and corners get involved, but don't get sucked in on play action like our guys. This creates issues for pre snap reads, while our defense is easy to read, which is one of the main reasons we give up easy plays....no mystery. They play an unbalanced line at times, which stops overloads. They push forward and don't drop back on the snap. Our DL engages blockers, Cincy fills gaps. They let athletes be athletes.

I could be wrong about him, but think Freeman brings that Ohio State nastiness to his defensive scheme. They don't back down...Today will be good litmus test against a good SEC team.v

Cincy can tackle. If we keep TG we should make him spend a week with Cincy's staff to learn how to teach tackling techniques

Gotta say Kirby is a facktard. Cinch has a WR and a running QB. Behind Bama, the second most athletes on the field that he has seen?!? Lol.

I had Cincy in place of Ohio State in the playoff thread. I stand by my choice.

I really don’t like Pickens, I feel like he is a punk. Always has something to say and just about started that fight.

I thought it could have been. The Cincinnati player was moving backwards when he fumbled meaning forward progress had stopped. Then again I am clearly not an impartial observer.

Interception in Georgia end zone. Cic has posession. Fumble into playing field so live ball. Cin recovers in field of play and goes back into own end zone. Safety

A safety can only occur in the offensive team's own endzone.
The interception occurred in Cincinatti's endzone, not uga endzone.

Wow that was a quick stop for a review unlike the Pickens “catch” that the next play was allowed to go on immediately after the ball was set. Double standard much?
