The Bulls come to town for our last mid-week. Their record is 24-21 (12-9 in the AAC). They hosted, and were swept by, UTSA this past weekend. To me the USF game is meaningless. Of course, we'd like to win to keep the momentum going, but if any of our players are banged up or just tired, I'll rest them. And I wouldn't use any pitcher that I may need for the Texas series unless it's just an inning or two to keep them sharp. The focus for me is getting as many SEC as you can out of our final 6. Go Gators!
Don't want to lose to a 100+ RPI team at home when you're trying to fight your way into the tournament. The Texas series is on Friday so don't see an issue with the pitching at all. Not to mention this win would go a long way towards securing a top 16 rpi which will be tough to ignore come selection day.
