I’m a lot more worried about 3-6 than 7-9 this weekend. I can’t stomach another weekend of Shelton, Shelnut, and Kurland having one decent game each. Since the Missouri series: Heyman: .274 Shelton: .242 Shelnut: .197 Kurland: .185 Heyman has been on an upward trend but the others have been slumping hard for a while. Shelton has been especially bad with RISP (under .200)
Shelton, Heyman, Shelnut and Kurland need to get their bats going. .260, .250, .255, .253 ain't good enough for 3-6 in your lineup, especially when we know how good they have been and can be.
So @ocalaman, you’re saying that you and @astrogator are handling this? Well good!!! One less thing…..
Dark nasty over us, but no rain yet. Problem is lightning close by. Bad sign: Rain songs over the speakers.
Why are there no prostitutes in Tennessee? Because they're all Volunteers. Why do Tennessee fans all like that shade of orange? Because they can wear it to the games, then hunting on Sunday, then all week at work while they're picking up garbage. Why do ducks fly over Tennessee upside down? Because there's nothing worth crapping on. Why did UT disband the water polo team? Because all their horses drowned.
One delay issue is Coppola had already warmed up. Now he's in dugout with ice on his shoulder. Oops now there's actual rain.
He's a guy you love to hate but he is winning at Tenn which hadn't been done in a while. Since he started coaching in 2018 he is winning at .704 - the two previous guys were not getting it done at .479 and .489 - and then there was Rod Delmonico who was pretty good at .638 over 18 years. Sully was .681 when this season started.
