Kash had two dingers on Saturday night and the second one was with one on late and was the game winner against Slater.

    Today Slater owned him.

And somehow he led off a lot of innings with nobody on today. That worked out well for us.

He is a very dangerous hitter.

Kash put Texas Tech in the driver's seat Saturday night but that wasn't enough.

If I had to select a Gator as MVP of the regional I would vote for Cade Fisher.

Right on, my brother. That wonderful day at BHG last November was, by far, our best game of the year. We flat out, comprehensively, whipped their a--. Rattler got destroyed, and we remembered his gloating in 2020 Cotton Bowl. And their tearing down goal posts on us in 2021? "We buried those cockroaches."

And damn right, we shall bury that baseball team this weekend!!!!

I don't think that I have ever seen Spurrier at a baseball game, but it would be cool if he shows up for at least one of these games.

I think we are pretty safe on that unless he is doing something there for a reunion or gathering.

It was rigged. Mail in ballots, a carload of ballots came from Texas overnight.

Few former football players, and especially coaches, are as loyal as Spurrier. The entire time he played in the NFL. He quietly completed his UF degree and walked across the stage at graduation without calling attention to himself.

He is loyal to coaches and colleges that treated him well, specifically Duke and SC, plus could hold a grudge against people whom he felt misbehaved toward him. He always was happy to lay 70 on Bill Curry after a run in after Pepper Rodgers and he were let go at GA Tech. At the same time, he's not crazy about being pestered because of his celebrity, so he lays low at times.

Here is a great article on Ryan Slater... He did play one hail of a game. MVP of that Monday game ... I can agree with that. Cade Fisher was good too.

A second chance Ryan Slater wouldn't take for granted
