The consistency from Cags on the mound has been fantastic.
    That was fun!

When I have to miss a game, I just love coming on these game threads! Gatorgal, thanks so much for doing these all these years. (And thanks for not posting the score in the title of the game thread too. It's fun to go through the whole thing not knowing the outcome). Really, really appreciate these threads!!!

Sully has talked about moving Jac to Friday to shake things up. I would guess the hesitation is what has been explained above. Talked about moving him to Saturday and then Friday to avoid the abrupt change if they choose to go that route.

From what I have seen the last two starts Cags is now a pitcher and no longer just a thrower.

After last season I thought that he would be drafted and forced into an everyday player role but now he shows enough stuff to be considered as a two way player even in MLB.

Just my opinion here Mat-but the way the play-offs are tiered (Regionals/Supers/CWS) at that point you have days to work out moves while keeping work routines pretty much in place to move a starting pitcher.

If Sully intends to move Cags in the regular season then the one day at a time sequence would be the way to go short of missing a start.

I still think that he stays the strongest hitting, playing defense, and pitching on Sundays—either way he’s only affecting one game as a pitcher and it’s Sully’s call.

If we keep Cade Fisher in the Friday role then we keep Cags on Sunday. LRL as a starting pitcher sequence is very good. If you move Cags to Friday night then you should move Fisher to Sunday.

I trust Cade to pitch better.
