Baseball vs SC, Sun 4/14, Noon

For us heathens who were at the park early, there was hope that last nights almost comeback win would carry over and it did. The comment about the plate Blue was right on. You never knew what any pitch was going to be called. He must be Jeff Heads brother.

Correct to the comment about Ty leading off. He is a calming effect in that spot. Still making some base running mistakes but it was a win. You all know: "A win is a win is a win".

Two revenge games between now and the Arkansas series. Jacksonville Tuesday and Stetson on 23rd. Go GATORS!

As you know Mo is huge. If we can get to 30-31 wins we host a regional.

 

Need I say Jacksonville game is a Must win?

I have us at 30 wins entering SEC Tourney. We will need 1-2 wins there to host a regional. With our schedule, a 32 wins will host a regional.

BUT MUST win midweek games. Cannot lose another 1.

 

Well that's certainly possible, hope you're right. Not sure 30 wins gets us a regional tho, depends on who we beat I guess. Right now I'm just hoping for a winning record and an NCAA bid somewhere.

3 of 4 are top 10 teams. Will get ya a host provided we don’t fold in SEC Tourney and win 1-2. Schedule makes us. And yes, I’m not forgetting the midweek games because at this point we cannot lose another midweek game that will help us get to 30 or 31.

 

Schedule is crazy good.

 

I forgot Arkansas. We go 8-7 in SEC ( stretch maybe) and that will speak for itself.

 

Wishing it will happen, but I don't see it. I love our Diamond Gators (softball & baseball), but pitching for baseball just ain't there.

 

You’re probably right. I’ve got my o and b glasses on. We could just as easily go 5-10 in that stretch.

 

We need to get to 14 SEC wins and keep the overall record above .500. Just trying to get in at this point.
