Agree. Gotta finish and hopefully figure out a way to never be back here again.
I’d make em shake hands if it weren’t Covid.

I'd like to know more about this! JY brought it every game, but he was about the only one.

Geez. 19-1 on our own home field. Got our butts handed to us. Hopefully in our next recruiting we wont lose half our talent to the MLB.

    Just a painful two days.

But on the bright side for me I finally got to sit where my regular seats will be and it has a view of home plate very similar to what I had at the Mac. It is row 7, but there is a much shorter distance to the wall behind the plate.

Clearly the posted pitch speeds were off quite a few times. I think they use guns posted above the visitor dugout to try and get them.

The home plate blue was fairly consistent. He had a lot of really close calls at the edge of the plate and I really can't argue about too many of them. Borderline is borderline.

He did have a really low strike zone, but maybe because he was really short. Maybe he was calling his strike zone and not the batter's strike zone.

Sometimes the truth stings or even hurts. But there it is in plain English. I couldn’t agree more @paidinfull.

    Lurk—

Agree with your assessment of blue’s strike zone. On TV to me it looked like he favored the low strikes and the outer half strikes to both LHH & RHH. He didn’t call an inside half strike hardly at all.

Seeing the inside pitch is really hard for me because the home plate blue shifts over and blocks my view on lefties and USA had a bunch of them.

But for the most part the inside pitches were inside off the plate trying to establish the outside part of the plate for both teams. Textbook pitching. Don't let them get comfortable crowding the plate.

Ask’em for a raise @apkgator — you know with as many people as you know they will also have you on the recruiting trail….;)

Can't we get a pitching machine that throws high four seam fastballs so our hitters learn to not swing at them?

I am too old to throw them for BP.

I figured he’d have to help me with that. I’ve got contacts and know my areas but I’m with you Horns as @APK is now not beat writer to Recruiting Coordinator.
I’ll take Sw fla and hang around my son’s former org with the Burn. I’ll take Miami too. APK has O town-Jville-and Tampa. Signing him to a 3 year deal. We want some dirt dogs and gamers. Find me a guy or two that can bunt and a couple w wipeout sliders.
