U know I was being silly .
Too high . He is a guy . Maybe a first baseman.. 12-15 round . Should be back or TP
But what if south Alabama is having so much fun hitting it all over the park that that want to continue?
I'm not covering any noon starts....you and Wing ae too grumpy about that
If the rumors are true and the players know it, maybe they quit on Sully because he quit on them.
He lacks a position and he power is likely not that projectable, at least not yet.
Going 2 and barbeque to two directional schools in your home stadium in the post-season. Wow.
That's what I'm thinking.
That is EXACTLY why they need to finish. Character. I would want each and every player and coach to endure ever single pitch to make this a complete game.
This isn't some situation where an outmanned team is facing a goliath. As you said, they gave up, quit. They should never get an easy escape from finishing. Endure, and hopefully remember and learn something
Thanks for the semantics lesson .
There is absolutely no benefit or pleasure watching a team get beat by 15-20 runs in my book at any lever of play, just torture. . It's not character bldg either. "Your feelings being hurt* is already a fact at 10-0. I feel the same way about 59-0 football gms.
We disagree, so be it.
I can’t imagine Sully telling his team he is gone before the season is over. However, he will not lie to his team and if asked by a player, the rumors are out there, a “no comment “ or “I’m not discussing my future “ certainly sends a signal. Too play this crap awful something doesn’t smell right.
19-1. Wow. This might be the worst post-season of Gator sports ever when you also include softball.
Recent tweet: barring further lightning strikes, game will re-start at 5:00
2 weeks ago MLB.com projected Hickey as pick #135 (that's 4th round, I think), Fabian #17, Mace #34, Leftwich #145, plus 2 pitchers in our incoming class, Andrew Painter at #18 and Chase Petty at #25 and OF Jay Allen at #37.
You learn a lot about a player in how he responds in a game like this. The young one that wouldn’t have seen a pitch or the field, How will they do when given a chance.
Maybe it is a generational thing. Take your lumps but keep your head up and learn something…. Maybe we could give out a trophy for finishing the game or running a ground ball to short out.
Your dedication is one of a kind! Very impressive stuff.
That was a flat out embarrassing and painful experience-- yesterday and today team looked flat and disinterested. There must an internal issue of some kind- not sure what. Sully rumors don't help but there is a "going through the motions" attitude among some of the players that rankles. If Sully stays, an assistant will likely have to fall on his sword-- like Weitzel in 2019. In some ways, this year is worse than 2019. Losing two at home against AAC and Sunbelt teams... my goodness. New ballpark did not bring out the best in this Gators team. Bummer all around.
I cant remember a higher tier program.swamping this bad in a regional...no coach or player should feel assured of being on the team next year if they were part of the problem. Great coaches look in the mirror, around them, adjust,.and do what is necessary.
