We can’t even get out of this. Weather delay and tarp coming out.
Players and coaches should be embarrassed and I'm guessing they are Tough way for seniors and some underclassmen to end their Gator careers.
just call it
Not the first, second, third, or fourth time he has left that pitcher in way too long after losing his stuff.
There is a difference between giving up and quitting.
Surely they'll call this game, right? They gonna make them go back out and finish it?
I had a lady at Alabama in 2005 say that to me as I left the stadium after the game. And I responded exactly the same way. “Why would I be embarrassed? What did I do to be embarrassed about???”
Seems we did both a long time ago
Jackie and Hunter both got pulled pretty quick. Wasn't anyone else to go to after Franco.
Or not being able to draw a postseason crowd at a brand new park opened up to capacity just for this event.
Oh come on.
At this point I just hope everyone gets home safe.
Yeah the prolonged pain is mean...
Want to take this time to thank @Gatorgal04 for doing these games. I don't participate much but I do like to lurk.
It's called the off-season.
I didn’t think this team had a real run in them but at the same time, I could never have foreseen this type of collapse. Gator Baseball is my favorite sport and basically going two years without it for this season to end this way really sucks. But it is what it is.
I had a lot of fun at times during the season but didn't think it would end anything like this. Oh well...
Add in 2019 was generally miserable as well. This core group will have have a disappointing legacy
College baseball could use a mercy rule similar to softball.
No way. Make them finish this fiasco. Its fitting for the guys who had their minds elswhere. Let it burn all the way to offseason workouts and committments for next years team to chew on
I hesitate to even write this so maybe I shouldn’t. So if the mods want to delete it, go for it.
The core players do have a tough legacy and I would think that would be so disappointing that you would want to fix it. I know I would.
But in all honesty, I am not at all convinced that a near complete restart of the roster isn’t necessary. Not because I have any issues with any of the players or question their skill or commitment. Something is off. It just is. Maybe another offseason solves whatever is off. My guess is it doesn’t.
Maybe a new crop fixes it. So I hate to push people out but it might be better for the program if there is a 22 player turnover or whatever the draft eligibility number is.
