I always wonder how those conversations work, because the way they've presented the rules, it doesn't read like FLORIDA has a choice.

In my mind, they go like this...

Sully: Hey, uh, one other thing. Listen...if we happen to be kicking your butts to the tune of 10 runs or more at the end of the game, do you want to just throw in the towel?
DiMare: Well, yeah, that would be embarrassing enough, at least have some mercy on us so we can leave and focus on the next one.

    Go GATORS!

All the stunts your vols and their trashy coach have pulled over the last few years and you’re here crying about a throat slash on a walk off homer to take the series from scUM. Give me a f’n break.

BT was a leader last year. He seems like the same confident guy to me.

Josh has made huge strides hitting, fielding, and leading. He looks like a totally different guy than I’ve seen for the last few years.

I just wanted to celebrate a few of the Canes starting pitchers. I checked their updated stats and it is so good to see the ERAs of Gage Ziehl and Alejandro Rosario have grown so well. Gage's ERA is all the up to 11.25. Wow that's amazing, good for him. And Alejandro is almost as good up to 7.82. That's a remarkable accomplishment in only one weekend. They are well on their way to leading the Canes in Earned Runs. Oh wait....

I’ve confirmed that it does in fact lead the nation. In front of South Carolina (32), Wake Forest (31), and Miami (29).

I agree w you. Definitely not a showy type of guy at all. Jud was not a talker and I really liked that about him. Never made a big production out of anything. In fact I don’t know if I ever saw him even argue about a strike.

Worth his weight in gold to our team. Kind of a glue guy.

    No I didn’t.
I’ll stay w Wyatt. Never seen him come off as showy or overdoing it. Jud for that matter too.
Just interesting that freshman for Miami is doing that. Don’t see freshman who have played 12 games do that much. I guess I’d maybe get it if the kid had olayed a year or two and had put up some numbers and such.

A few years back I recall an away game, believe we were at Jacksonville, and we had a batter get throw out of the game by the home plate ump because he took the bat and drew a line in the sand. My memory is telling me it was Jud but I'm probably wrong. Was it Jud or someone else?

    Hickey maybe? Or McConnell?

if Jud I’d still say he’s the most reserved star we’ve had in a while. Great young man. Very humble.

Found it, Dalton and Sully joined him.

Florida coach Kevin O’Sullivan and right fielder Wil Dalton were thrown out of the game in the third inning by plate umpire Christopher Tipton in a bizarre sequence.

Dalton, unhappy with an inside pitch that was called a strike, turned his head skyward in dismay, then drew a line in the dirt where he thought the pitch had crossed.

Tipton quickly ejected him. O’Sullivan came out to argue and also was tossed out.

Wil Dalton, but if you’d ever watched him bat before, you’d know it was part of his routine.
