Wind for today 10-15 mph from the northeast (left to right crosswind). Looks like maybe some light rain moving through around 11 am cdt.

 

I bet they still walk him

 

We need the bats to wake up and do what they did in the elimination game against Nebraska. Take the pressure off of our pitchers and save some of our key arms.

 

Like the lineup changes. Shelnut is rewarded.

 

Cags being first is really interesting. I usually like him to see some pitches before he faces his first AB. We will see if this move pays off.

 

Not being negative at all but the pitching has been really bad all season and it is amazing that despite that, we are somehow one of the last five teams still playing. It is a testament to the players and coaches that they have accomplished what they have this season and hopefully we still have something left to keep this run going.

That said, the pitching issues have been a major problem and is something Sully is going to have to address in the offseason. Again, not being negative but instead being realistic.

 

Glad to see sully Shaking up the line up some. Need to get the offense going.

 

I thought it was so Kurland can see Cags footprints in the LH batter’s box and he would know not to swing if it lands there………

 

That’s brutal, lol. I think his bigger problem is the heater in his eyeballs. Donay, on the other hand, loves that slider away. I wouldn’t throw him anything else.

 

Like I said in the last game thread, Robertson needs to be lead off and Shelnut needs to bat third behind Cags right now.

Cags needs to get the 75th Homerun of his career. That would put him alone at first place for the Florida gators. I think he deserves it.

 

The Gators have won eight of their last nine elimination games.

 

Especially with the overall playing time being as short as it’s been.
