Even Flo could not get us enough insurance.
That was crap. I know the pitching staff is young, but this is getting ridiculous.
When you’re sitting on a 5-1 lead and their dugout is DEAD and you let’em back in it—
You need to take a really l o n g look in the mirror—
See anything you like better???

Hard to believe where we are.
Don't want to over react but starting to think there will be a good bit of turnover in this pitching staff unless there is a huge improvement down the stretch. Got to throw strikes.
They can quote me, I've got thick skin. I'm still laughing at Miami.
As for the game tonight, it's not even like this game mattered from a results perspective, BUT I was hoping to see a better overall effort. Very pleased with the offensive performance, but man, that was a rough day on the mound.
Uh Coach, are you in favor of the execution of our pitching staff?
What do we have coming in next year?
Was looking at the list: Perfect Game USA - World's Largest Baseball Scouting Service
Any chance Owens makes it on campus?
Bit of humor first. During one of Sully's late walks to the mound the guy in back of me's phone rang. He jumped up. "I got the call! They want me to go in!"
I've decided it's time for an attitude adjustment. I can't influence the team, so I'm changing mine. I give up on this team improving. It's not going to happen this year. I will no longer get frustrated or mad. There's no point. I will cheer every great hit, play and pitch - and fully expect them to lose every game. If we win, I'll be pleasantly surprised and feel bad for the other team because I'm not sure how they could lose to us. If you stick around long enough, we'll hand it to you so shame on you if you lose to this year's Gators.
I love my Gators and will fully support them, but expect nothing good to happen until next year. It is what it is. No sense in elevated blood pressure. For me, the pressure is off.
You realize we're still mathematically alive for an outright SEC Championship, right?
Maybe not better but here goes.
Ledtwich should be a midweek guy until he’s ready again. Not sure why didn’t pitch tonight after what 40 pitches Saturday?
Blasucci more innings. Off speed stuff is closer to plus stuff than most of staff.
If healthy we can’t “run away” from Dyson. Even scuffling he’s definitely one of our best three starters and probably second. I know he’s struggled but still one of our best options and pitching him At least gives him the opportunity to get it back whereas not pitching him will never allow him to get it back.
Butler has to throw. Why is he good enough to pitch against FSU but not others. A mystery to me why he’s not a major factor both hitting and pitching. You’d think with virtually no lefties he’d be given more opportunity, maybe even as a starter on the mound.
The real question is what do you think about your team's execution?
Can I answer as a former Tampa Bay Bucs would: "Sounds like a good idea."
should have said low efficiency and/or noneffectiveness from the hurlers
I was at the game with a good view of the pitches.
Crisp pitched well.
The other guys threw the ball.
I see you catch my drift. Thanks Lurker.
Well said as I was thinking of posting something similar but you said it better. For me its wait until next year at this point. We have a few more weekends of baseball and I hope to enjoy as many as I can. Whether we are a 2 seed or even a 3 seed I think the best chance we have to advance is hold Mace for game 2 where ever we go. Hope Dyson can get 5 innings or more in game 1. If we get lucky and win the first then Mace can put us in the drivers seat for that first weekend. If we still lose and go home then we are who we are.
I think its possible we see Tyler Owens pitching for the Gators. He is only 5-10 and still throws in the low to mid 90s. I wonder if a pro team would use a high draft pick for a 5-10 pitcher. Don't forget his HS coach is Tommy Bond.
We have to hope we get one of these catchers in Hickey or Powell to start behind the plate for us next year.
Beyond anything else that we can say or want—this.....
