Hopefully next year the fellas will be able to hit sac flies and hit the change up. It amazes me that with bases loaded or 2nd & 3rd and can't hit it out of the infield, frustrating.

On another note the HP umpire for the SWAC vs DAWGS game has an eye of a needle for a strike zone—geez, it just don’t ever stop—

Hate to say this, but Sully did not help us this postseason.

I agree with you. I stated it earlier. I was saying that I can’t believe we lost the game because of one inning. And by one freaking run.

Hitting can be contagious and that whole Baptist team came down with the epidemic that inning 16 batters go to the plate.

I have to say one more time: why not Dyson early in this game? I know Sully knows his pitchers and also didn’t know what he would get most times, but damn, he could have stopped the bleeding in the fourth it appeared. Hindsight 20/20 I guess.

Dyson was an enigma this year. We all know that he can be a dominant pitcher based on his 2017 late season performances, but he did not have it early on. I don't know why, but I have my guesses. My best guess is not having repeatable mechanics.

Leftwich had his blister problem. I am thinking it was more than just a blister, but he came on strong at the end of the season. He clearly knows how to pitch.

Mace is a bit of a mystery to me. He has a really good sinking two-seamer and so he should be able to dominate on the mound. All he needs is a reliable off-speed pitch. I am thinking that working on a good change-up that works against both righties and lefties would do the trick.

Because he, like everyone else has issues. Pogue is great, till suddenly he isn't.....cmon Sully, get Crisp in there, oh wait, get Crisp out of there.
Been watching this game a long time and never seen anything like an entire staff being this Dr Jekyll-Mr Hyde. There is talent there, probably more than most teams still playing. But these guys just didn't grow up, they didn't toughen up, and they didn't get the job done. The youth excuse no longer flies. Gonna be some uncomfortable exit interviews.
Leftwich may be the one guy I give pass too, but that's really it.
