    Kid brings so much to this team it’s hard to put a value on him. Leader ship, consistency, and so many intangibles that do not show up in the box score. Love to see him have a 14 or 15 home run year.

    Glad Sully pulling him. Purnell cannot be tired. Allows inherited runners to score and just gotta throw strikes.

    Yeah, I noticed towards the end of last year as many of us did his ERA went up, he wasn’t fooling anyone, and he allowed inherited runners to score a little bit too much… We have too many other arms. This is two times in the last five days that he could’ve helped us shut the door.
