I wish Lukey could come back if we make a deep run into postseason but that is unlikely

 

Back from the game and enjoying a victory margarita.

I will watch some of the game if it is on demand on ESPN+. It looked to me like the Bama guy scoring from second on their fifth run didn't actually touch third base. I heard some other fans yelling from the stands to throw the ball to third. It was close. He might have brushed the side of third base with his cleats.

We now have lost our starting catcher, shortstop and second sacker. And our back-up second sacker. Defense is built up the middle. I hope that our guys can fill the gaps.

Home plate blue was really inconsistent all night to the detriment of both teams.

 

Ain’t nobody left

 

Lost what most of us assumed to be our starting cf’r, and Tybo for significant time too. And a few pitchers. Can’t believe this team seems to be performing at their best when it seems like everything that could go wrong is going wrong.

Then again this one didn't age so well....

 

I know every team has injuries but the # of key Gator injuries this season has been incredible. Amazing that the team has been able to battle and finish the season so strong. From 1-11 to 14-14 in sec play is incredible. Major kudos to the players and coaching staff.
