Gator Insider Kendall Rogers tweeted the breaking news today that Bell and Shiflett left the program. You were about 6 weeks ahead of him on that one.

Stumbled on this write up on Juco transfer Justin Alintoff from his summer league's season ending ranking of players.

Has that summer league gotten any better? Was struggling last I saw of it, but that's a few years back

I'm not all that familiar with the league so I can't really say. It's not one of the top summer leagues, but there is a handful of kids from big time programs (Auburn, Ole Miss, Rice, Stanford, FSU) when reading their Top 20.

Good read, looks like a lot of guys in transition....which is what we also see in the central fl league.
Noticed a pretty impressive 1b is headed to Tampa from juco, Keenan bell may have his work cut out

Might not be a bad idea to place a phone call to Bryce Hulett, the #2 ranked kid and a 1B at a FL Juco. We seem to have a opening at that position at this point in time...

Right? I try not to get too excited about Juco pitchers because the list of guys who jumped to big time D1 and disappeared is very long.

Pumping strikes to guys at Southwest Florida State College is a tad different than pumping strikes to LSU's Beau and Bryce Jordan in front of 10,000 drunk fans in Baton Rogue. Not sayin it can't or won't happen, just sayin'. Know what I'm sayin'?

Not a roster question but about 2019, does anyone know when the schedule will get released for next season?

Seems to not come out until towards the end of Fall Ball - November. Gatorgal will probably have a more exact timeframe.

Somehow, Nick Long is at State College of Florida (Manatee for you old school 74nole type guys). He had multiple appearances in 2017 and 2018 so I don't know how he qualifies to play JUCO.

    Mat--

Did he take a red-shirt either year? I'm not sure of another way unless perhaps he has not earned enough credit hours to be over the JUCO threshold and he is willing to burn another year of eligibility--

    Been monitoring this.
Georgia (v UF May 3-5) and LSU (v UF April 18-20) have both released their Spring schedules.

Auburn, Texas A&M and Arkansas have also released theirs and the Gators don't play them in 2019.

Possibly traveling to Vandy and LSU. Sans kids for LSU most likely. Vandy, I was thinking a Huntsville-NASA trip with the kiddos would be an option.

In G-ville, not sure. Miami is always fun and I might have to take my daughter to Orlando so she can go on a trip with her grandparents anyway. I need to check schedules in short. As of right now, not planning on it.
