The Texas announcers said when the game started that he's not thrown more than 60 pitches and they just wanted to get a few innings out of him. Their bullpen is their strength, not starting pitching.

 

Radio guys said he has K'd 7 times in 10ABs this weekend

But I seriously doubt that UTx are the champions. They have a LOT of missing pieces.

 

Other than the 6 runs in the 1st inning of Game 1, our bats have been pretty anemic. Our guys swing at so many balls out of the strike zone and are just getting eaten up by sliders in the dirt/carpet.

 

That’s what they say—I would use him as a tackling dummy.

After the first inning, who thought King would be heading into the 6th at 78 pitches with zero runs? Kid is puuuuurrrrty good.

 

Aidan King is just a dude… Not sure there’s a better freshman starter in the SEC and maybe the country!!!

 

Has been a dude for a long time. While Liam taking time getting into his groove Aidan was the one that gave us consistency early on
