Wow, just watched my recording with a huge sigh of relief. Thought we were cruising thru 6, then I got a text from a friend saying "tough 9th inning" and thought we had lost, especially after the debacle in the 8th. No more looking at phone during games I've recorded. At least not important ones. Gators....living on the edge.
As dramatic as it was,.... at the end of the day, we're 2-0, and in the catbird seat...... My only critique is that I wish all of our hitters would stop swinging for the cheap seats every at bat..... JESUS! Mix in some base runners with some base hits or walks, or errors, or getting plunked..... Then hit the whammy ball with runners aboard! Han Solo's won't get us the hardware..... I want to play the team with the most depleted pitching staff on Wednesday and do some seal clubbing...... (Relax,.... only a figure of speech.) GO GATORS!!!! Still enjoying this years ride.

Good point! Out of all the homers hit so far if I’m not mistaken only once did we have a guy on base. But by all means boys keep hitting them just saying runners on base would be nice.
He addresses it by sticking with the approach that got them to the CWS semifinals- the final four for baseball. He can't make a trade with some other team, he has to use only the guys he brought to Omaha. That includes keeping Wyatt, Cags, Josh and BP in the same order. He already has moved Kurland around in the order, even though he just fell below .300 for the season, he has been cold for the postseason. I was OK with someone's suggestion to switch him with Halter, but that is the only change I can imagine with the 1-4 spots. He might just move those four up like he did earlier this season, but I prefer Wyatt at #2. My only other wish is to face OR again on Wednesday. Their #4 starter may throw a gem, but I feel our guys are well suited for anyone's #4. TCU's #4 might be a weaker pitcher, but experience in the B12 prepares pitchers for the big stage better than the Summit. Maybe they'll throw their Friday starter again.
What pissed me off was the booth clowns that usually seem honest never once mentioned the LOW ball being called strikes for 3 freaking innings. I mean all that clown had to do is glance close to the plate and it was a called strike. And no one wonders why we didn't get many if any hits while he was pitching? The fix was in... but we don't play ball. And if you go the TheRant those whiny LSU clowns are really scared to play the Gators in a final. The last team the want to play is The Gators.Deep down inside they know we were getting jobbed by the home plate ump.
I can listen to music while I post and read... I have my songs on my computer, no earbuds needed. And if I feel really wild I can hook my computer into my mixer and play my songs though my EV- ZXA5 1250 WATT professional loud speaker. But that's only if I want my neighbors to hear what I'm playing.
