Whew. So many breaks for ORU, so many blunders by us. To be able to scratch out a W tonight is HUGE! When nothing goes your way and you still get it done…man. Survive and advance. Take a few days off, shake off some bad juju, and lets go get us to the finals on Weds!

Would seem weird starting Fisher after this game, but I expect to see him at some point. I assume that we would go back to Sproat in the event that we lose and need to play the elimination game.

 

Did you know: After losing the first 6 one run games in Omaha under O'Sullivan, we have now won the last 3.

 

Someone said that in the post-game coach apologized for something. What was that?

 

I think, for me, it was almost like selfish pre-ejoyfullation during the game... Then I felt a guilty selfish joy in winning at the end. Lol.

 

Seems to me, the team we end up playing there pitchers will be spent even more so. But that won't matter much if our hitting remains anemic among the top 4 batters.

I'm not sure Cade F gets enough credit for pulling this game out. I cannot imagine the pressure he was facing, seemed like everything was favoring oru, yet he got it done. This guy is a star in the making.

 

Agree. Sully is tasting a title now. If we win next game as suggested we start our rotation on 7 day’s plus rest. Then Cags becomes emergency 3rd pitcher. I’m okay with that.
