Bullpen was awesome!!! Great comeback win in front of the 2nd largest crowd in LSU history, as their announcer kept saying.

I would play Mikey over Guy and Russell. However I would also try and give Yost and Brookins a shot somewhere.

Between the grit they showed, the relievers, Cags HR and Evans catch, does this ignite this team??
    Dang!

I love it when a dropped third strike was a HUGE play in the game.

Good to remember, no matter what happens tomorrow, we can't come home any worse than 3-3 in the SEC. Hoping of course we come home 4-2. Point is, two weeks ago before we started SEC play with so many questions and losses, playing 2 top 5 teams back to back, 3 wins and 3 losses would have been better than many would have thought.

No idea. He’s definitely no worse at the plate and seems to be at least as solid in the field as Guy. And then landon gets the start tonight. He’s an enigma.

I think you should have started your post off with:

After we get home tomorrow at 4-2 in conference play it would be good to remember…..

Menendez, McNeillie, Smith, Neely, and Slater went 6 and 2/3 innings giving up ZERO runs and only 3 hits.
    Is that better @74nole?

I am so happy that the LSU fans are horribly heartbroken right now. Thousands of LSU fans, one out away from going home so happy.... but victory was ripped from them at the last moment. I know that my feeling this way shows a grievous imperfection in my character, but I can't be alone. It would be so awesome to take this series tomorrow!

By "funny" did you mean "awesome"?

Look, LSU is a very good team and if they ruff up Cags tomorrow it will be hard to win the rubber match.

But from what I have seen the last couple of outings Cags has gone from thrower to pitcher. But he better have his A game as a pitcher on tomorrow because those Corn Dogs can rake.

Agree 100%. Those guys are our future. Transfers that left us end up hurting us in Fabian, Prevesk and Nesbitt. Gotta get some of these kids to stay, and that happens with opportunity

I know exactly where he’s coming from but for me I can deal with LSU fans a helluva lot better than I can Texas Longhorn fans—any day of the week.
