Its uncommon to find someone in baseball that actually types faster that says more than what the play by play announcer says on the radio call. Thanks again @Gatorgal04 for all the info.

Gators Pull Away from Jacksonville with Huge Inning
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida's bats were as hot Tuesday night as they were opening weekend, as the Gators once again slugged their way to victory. By the end of the night, Florida (4-0) had 16 hits in a 13-3 victory over Jacksonville (1-3).

Florida jumped ahead in the third inning with a leadoff double from junior Cal Greenfield, followed by an RBI double from sophomore outfielder Jud Fabian. The Gators built on their lead in the fourth after an error brought in a run, then Fabian smacked an RBI single, and senior outfielder Austin Langworthy drew a bases-loaded walk, making it 4-0. Jacksonville answered with two runs in the fifth, but the Gators hung seven runs on the board in the sixth, sending 15 batters to the plate.

The massive inning started with three consecutive singles from Josh Rivera, Greenfield, and Fabian. The next three Gators walked, were hit by a pitch, and walked to make it a 7-2 game. Sophomore outfielder Jacob Young drove in a run with a single, then freshman Nathan Hickey walked in another run. After the first out of the inning was made, Rivera plated a pair with a double to deep center.
Freshman Nick Ficarrotta picked up the win, allowing just one hit in two innings of relief for freshman starter Hunter Barco. Junior Justin Alintoff also turned in an impressive relief appearance, throwing a career-high 3.2 innings and doubling his career high for strikeouts with six on the night.

STANDOUT STAT: 47 – Florida's run total through four games. The Gators opened the season with games of nine, 10, 15, and now 13 runs. That is the second-highest run total through four games in head coach Kevin O'Sullivan's 13 seasons at the helm. The only other year with more was 2015, when UF scored 50 runs in its first four games.
The only other years with 40-plus under O'Sullivan? Those came in 2008 and 2018, and the Gators scored 42 runs in their first four games of those seasons.

    JU Bested By #2 Florida
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville University baseball fell 13-3 to the #2 Florida Gators on Tuesday night at John Sessions Stadium. The Dolphins (1-3) collected a season-high nine hits, with eight total players collecting them. Mike Cassala (0-2) got his first start of the season, and battled his way through 3.1 innings. He struck out five along the way, and threw a season-high 79 pitches. Tyler Naumann added 1.2 of scoreless relief with two strikeouts, and Avery Love pitched the last 1.2, allowing only three hits, no runs and fanning three.

Jacksonville threatened in the first three innings, and broke through in the fifth. Ruben Someillan led off the frame with a seeing-eye single through the left side, followed by Scott Dubrule's RBI double to put JU on the board. Dubrule advanced to third on a long flyout before Jacob Southern struck out, however, the ball got away from the catcher and Southern reached first. The throw to first gave Dubrule time to sneak home and the Dolphins finished the inning trailing 4-2.

The Dolphins added a run in the eighth, when Paul Castillo doubled to left center, advanced to third on a ground out and scored on a balk.

I like the aggressive bats a lot so far.

    Gonna need them against Miami.

A great win tonight against a JU team that has been known for giving us fits at times.

No. 2 Florida pours it on in the rain against Jacksonville
    Alligator Dylan O’Shea, Sports Writer
The Gators fared better in Jacksonville’s wet conditions than the Dolphins did on Tuesday night. No. 2 Florida defeated Jacksonville 13-3 in a rainy contest at John Sessions Stadium to claim the first game of a home-and-home series.

UF remains undefeated to start the season, advancing to 4-0. JU fell to 1-3. While both pitching staffs struggled to throw a slick baseball for strikes, UF’s series-opening win against the Dolphins was about taking advantage of opportunities.

Florida pushed its runners across the plate, while Jacksonville turned its players into castaways on the wet base paths.
Jacksonville had a chance to take an early lead against Gators starting pitcher Hunter Barco, who made his first career start. The freshman lefty got out of a bases-loaded jam in the first inning, however.

The Dolphins continued to create early congestion on the bases, producing six base runners through three innings. But the first-year combo of Barco and Nick Ficarrotta allowed no runs for Jacksonville through three.

The level of competition has to be considered here BUT 2015 and 2018 ended in Omaha, Final Four both years.

I don’t see a ton of similarities in the sides but cool stats nonetheless.

I'm not going to get too worked up over four straight wins over Marshall and JU, but we're showing the level of dominance you want to see when playing low-level competition. At least on the offensive side, which is kind the big question mark looming over the season.
