I'm afraid at this moment this was a face-off between to very mediocre teams[/QUOTE]

Don’t ruin this for me, ok? This is no time for a reality check.

I watched on TV of course and they were tame. A solid Gator showing as well. I miss going to the Big Top. Some good trips there.

In actuality they may not even be mediocre....but there is talent on the roster, just as there is at UF

Powerless to stop the inevitable. This is exactly where Hole sports belong.

6 or 7 below .500. The only sport below .500.

Still under .500 (UF administrators prior to Foley didn’t give two craps about baseball) but closing at a ferocious pace. I believe it is FSU 128- UF 122 after tonight but I could be wrong. If we hang on to Sully for a while he can definitely get us on the winning side of things and open some breathing room as well.

That's pretty much been my narrative. But historically we have seen guys emerge and become more consistent a little earlier than this. And it's also been a while since the entire weekend rotation was in a flux like this. There is plenty of talent on the roster, and a lot of it is young. But youth is pretty common in college baseball. It's time to stop some of this scuffling, and I'm betting Sully is saying pretty much the same behind closed doors ( in pretty blunt fashion lol)

Not all players will develop equally. The 11.7 scholarships and the MLB draft make sure college baseball rosters suffer inconsistencies along with transfers, players who quit, etc.

Again, trust the coaches. They have proven during their time at UF they can rebuild and come back with a vengeance.

I'd have given him a triple, officially a double. Didn't want to rub it in, I guess.

He was pacing outside the dugout and somehow got almost behind the batters box during an at bat, lol. Just prior to that he visited the batter. He was definitely losing his marbles.
